I was wondering if Mal was going to let them stay on the ship or not. Honestly, I think he's doing the right thing, keeping them on board. I don't know if they would be better alone out in the black or with the one time friends. I love the way you portray Jayne as broken as well, letting them see a side of him they never thought to see.
