you make a request ("i want fic with Michael covered in whip cream and drunk"), things you dont want to see in this fic ("The Sheriff"),state things you WILL NOT write ("Max is nasty, ew.") and then the person(s) in charge mix and match requests. they then send you one and you write to the request, while someone else is writing to your request (and its not the same person you are writing for).
you generally get a word minimum, as well as place to post online when you are done. i requested Candy, of course, and protested Dreamer and Polar. 'Cause ew.
half the fun is being handed the challenge, and you have to cater to those points involved. the other part is finally getting to hand out something youve always wanted to see, but have never gotten around to/wanted to write yourself.
the main thing is to specify what you WONT write. i wont write porn, cause i cant write it without giggling and blushing, and i wont write Max and Liz or Polar of any kind.
