Gah! What's happened to River and Jayne?! This is pure genius - just losing them for two years and then picking up after they've been through heaven-knows-what. And been through it together, I hope? Have they gone all scary and borderling feral? ~hopes they've gone scary and feral~ Because your discription of Jayne after two years was all kinds of hot, and the idea of the pair of them holding out against whatever else the 'verse throws at them is just... ~drool~ This is my new crack.
