Because even if she isn't River, Birdy seems to have a bad feeling about this--or her worry is worrying me because I still see River who can tell when things re going to go wrong. But she isn't River and while I think I have figured out what that's all about, it's still so very confusing, I know--but whatever.

And Simon *huff* Will he EVER stop being such a boob? He doesn't know everything (in spite of what he THINKS), and has such a hard time accepting how River/Birdy is different than the people he knew before and refuses to believe that they will never be the girl he wants her/them to be. And I love how you keep that aspect of him from the series/movie.
Did I tell you that this was the first fic I have read/caught up with since I got back? *kisses*
