hola and good morrow, my good people!

i still have little on my yuletide fic, but am not going to stress until Friday, as i have plenty o' stress for the rest of the week!

Yes, folks, thats right, its FINALS WEEK.

not for me, but for my STUDENTS. this is painful for them. they have to answer DIFFICULT QUESTIONS about how to find a job and write a check. IT IS VERY TRAUMATIC.

not that i care, admittedly.

cause i have to make the damn things up, advise children who havent been in class ALL SEMESTER that there is no way possible to pass my class this year, sorry! Plus, i have to finish multiple IEPs, all 27 handwritten progress reports (bleerhg), locate a non sucky present for my secret pal, locate food for a potluck sped lunch, and locate gifts for all of the speds.

not to mention locating gifts for Senor Brandus. which i havent done yet.

yikes.

BUT! BUT! i got myself a Christmas present last night! I got myself Dance Dance Revolution, which i have wanted for a while, and made a big fool out of myself laughing hysterically and missing steps. SO MUCH FUN.

ALSO! (This is a very CAPITALIZED POST, i APOLOGIZE), for those of you who got here late, or need to be dragged into a new!fabulous!fandom! Lost is on tonight, showing a rerun of the full pilot episode. 2 hours of Lost! on tonight! at 7pm on ABC!

Not Quite Meme-age

So, i was sitting myself down in order to to the fanfiction.net meme. you know, this one:

1) Sally forth to Fanfiction.net. Gird thy loins. Plunge in.

2) Choose a book, movie, show, etc. you have never heard of (or, in a pinch, at least one you know nothing about aside from the name) that has at least ten fics listed.

3) Read only the first page of story summaries.

4) Using what you have learned from these summaries, describe what this book/movie/whatever is about. Be as silly as you like, but ONLY use whatever you just learned...

and i was cruising through the tv shows section, and laughing at other people's fandoms, because im allowed to mock as long as i do so quietly, and there, oh dear josh, not that

TELETUBBIES FANFICTION.

i was filled with horror. and gagging. and terror. because those things want to EAT MY FACE AAGAGHH!

anyway, to my further confusion and fear, there were several stories. 69 of them to be exact, so i clicked on the link to go see.

When i clicked? immediate relaxation.

seems most (most?! Only most?!) people who write Teletubbie fanfic prefer to murder-death-kill them in creative ways.

for example? We have Tinky Winky Plays with Fire and When Dispy Got Tipsy.

and then, of course, without reading the story, i decided to write my own, in rhyming language, with cute little sayings and tubby pudding and that FREAKY SUN BABY.

ill give you a hint on plot.

MY FRIENDS PAGE IS BROKEN. IN HALF.

Literally! I look at it, and there is HALF of my friends page on THIS side, and the other half of the damn thing on the other side! and not nice clean side by side breaks. instead, its this overlapping mess, and i cant read anything, and i really dislike it!!

FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT.

Kicking it is not working. nor is sulking. or refreshing 80 thousand times. or eating chocolate, and that is supposed to fix anything!
