I Make Bad Life Choices

So, after almost 2 years of very little written production of ANYTHING whether fannish or not, and one entire year where I honestly dont think I wrote a damn thing except my yuletide fic, because heck if I'm going to let that fall by the wayside, I lost my mind and signed up for a Big Bang challenge.

I signed up for the cripbigbang, as it sounded like something I would actually maybe possibly follow through on. I always have thinky thoughts about characters with disabilities and how they're portrayed in media (see also: my screaming frustration with Glee and Artie's wheelchair), and it's open to any fandom, and..and..i really miss writing. Like, really.

There are a number of characters I think I would like to try to write, and original fiction is an option, too, which is good as I've had a gay romance on my mind where one character is Deaf..although I might save that, as if i actually write it, i'd want to send it to Torquere and see if it's publishable.

...and seeing as I just proofread GAY SANTA PORN from Torquere, I'm hoping it would be.

So, I have until May 1 to write 10,000 words about character(s) with a disability and oh my holy what was I thinking? *terror*
