There *should* be lots of fallout, especially since Mizuki/Rui Xi is so innocent and always thought that her disguise as a boy was the perfect defence.
(God, I loved the scene in episode five where Rui Xi crawled into bed with Quan. "You're a girl. I am a guy. You should be more careful around me.")
