Hello, my people, i am BORED with every single book i own.

I need some suggestions, as I havent bought anything in forever, because we have no money, nor have i gone and sat in a bookstore for a while, because there are none near here and because we have no money.

I like fantasy, sci-fi, YA, and any combination thereof. Ive read every book set in Valdamar, Pern, Tortall (except for Bloodhound, but i havent found it yet) and Damar. Ive inhaled the Vorkosigan books, liked David Eddings older stuff, reread Jane Yolen's weird stories more times then I can count. I like fairy tale retellings, i like shippiness, i like interesting characters with a snarky bent.

Any suggestions?

I'm reading Bloodhound right now! I saw it in a bookstore and had to buy it, even though it was new and hardcover and therefore not cheap. WORTH IT. I've been waiting anxiously since Terrier, which I loved!

My three favorite YA trilogies are The Thief/The Queen of Attolia/The King of Attolia (if you haven't read them, try really hard not to spoil yourself, including looking at the backs of the second and third books) by Megan Whalen Turner, I believe; Sabriel/Lirael/Abhorsen by Garth Nix; and The Amulet of Samarkand/The Golem's Eye/Ptolemy's Gate by Jonathan Stroud. Any of these I would rec without qualms to anyone, because I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE them. They are all fantasy (or thereabouts) and they are all brilliant. And then of course there's Ella Enchanted, or Howl's Moving Castle, or lots of other things! <3
