You know what's awesome? The friend to whom you loaned your Firefly DVDs on Thursday night calling you on Saturday morning to ask when are "we going to see the movie? and then suggesting we see it twice in one day.
But, do you know what's even awesomer? Coming home to find this insanely perfect post-Serenity fic to recommend to said friend.
I love it!! Jayne is so matter-of-fact about being the only one left capable of handling River, plus it neatly ties up the "how did the Alliance get her to stand down" question which has bugged me each of the three times I've seen the movie so far.
Nice touch, calling Serenity home. I just totally choked up reading that.
