You're So Demanding

alianoraThings Ive decided about Hana Yori Dango:
1. Domyouji has a thing about taking Makino's stuff. Partially it's because Domyouji has little concept of personal possessions (he once literally took off his shirt in public and gave it to Rui, because Rui said he really liked it) and is kinda a klepto because of it, but mainly it's because he just likes having something that is hers. He wears her scarf, he pockets a toy she's had since she was a baby, and she looked for her favorite thrift store jacket for three weeks before she saw him wearing it when he came to pick her up one day.
2. F4 were all raised by nannies, and the nannies were all friends, so they would dump the boys together. Ironically, their parents pretty much hate each other.
3. Domyouji put together his first puzzle when he was 3. He still remembers the hum of accomplishment of fitting that last piece in and seeing the whole picture.
4. Puzzles with missing pieces freak Domyouji out. Like, alot. Like, ripping apart the room and sending someone out to buy an identical copy of the puzzle so he can get those last two pieces in before he can sleep kind of freak out.
5. As a child, Domyouji Tsukasa was quick to anger, fast with his fists, and a royal pain.
This didn't exactly change as he got older.
His fashion sense has actually gotten better. Which is a whole level of frightening.

literarylemming is trying to blame INNOCENT LITTLE ME for things that I had no part in! I NEVER TOLD HER THAT THERE SHOULD BE A TOMA SONG!
...ok, so I might have encouraged the idea, but she had it ALL ON HER OWN!

And you know he just kinda...takes things. He's not slipping them into his pocket on the sly, he just picks them up and takes them.

Ive gone through most of the Gokusen stuff, I think...(also, i was really enjoying "Reward" for a while, and then it seemed to take a strange turn on me. thoughts?), but I will poke through everything else and roll around in it for a while. :)

That's the kisses for math questions fic, right? I didn't manage to finish the fic, truthfully. I'm not quite sure what threw me off, but I lost interest after the first few chapters. There's another fic I have bookmarked that also soured for me after a strong beginning (mostly because Shin's rival for Yankumi's attention was turned into a jerk which is a plot point I'm never very fond of).

Makino's clothes might improve Dorkface's wardrobe.
...and now, for some inexplicable reason, I want fic where Dorkface dresses Makino. Badly. Badly dresses, i mean. Although, he might have IMPECCABLE taste in women's clothes, he just cant..dress himself.
And really, her clothes would be an improvement. Also, it's not like he's not skinny as a rail and prone to wearing odd things. He would totally wear her clothes.

yeah. i gave up at that point. because that's just..did the writer even have the same canon as the rest of the class?

When he kidnapped Makino for that makeover, Dorkface was planning on doing it all himself. His stylists looked on in horror, wondering if they should speak up and risk loosing their jobs.

I've seen this in thankfully few stories, but there are some authors that seem to think that Shin has to become tougher than Yankumi in order for their relationship to work. No. I can see him trying to become a man worthy of Yankumi, but not tough so that he can "tame" her. One of the reasons he loves her is because she is strong, determined, and wildly devoted to the people she cares for--Shin would be at her *side,* not trying to wrap her up in cotton.
...i need Shinkumi icons.
