I would have loved to see Ami's reaction to the horns.

i think she would have laughed. just started giggling like she did when he stuffed his face with cookies!

PGSM wasn't exactly subtle, so I'm sure we would have noticed if Ami was clued in. That said, I'd love to think that there was some vague sense of familiarity.

i cant decide which Id like better - that she knows and keeps her own council, or that she just recognizes his loneliness and responds to that and the vague familiarity.

I'm going to have to rewatch the entire series before I dare attempt fic.

My personal canon involves Ami first responding to Nephrite's loneliness; the more often she sees him and the more she gets to know him, the stronger her feeling of *connection* with him becomes. There are flashes of something that might be dreams, or memories, and they are both frightening and exhilerating.

I always get caught up by the whole reincarnated warriors bit--these girls were soldiers, and they saw the end of their world(s). I think that's one reason why I love Minako so much; she has to deal with being a girl in the modern world, and her memories of a war no one else can remember.

I love my yuletide fics with all of my heart, but I kinda wish I'd asked for PGSM as well. I keep on getting into this series at the wrong time!

me too. which is why i wanted more between Usagi and Serenity.

and add to my fic list up there - i want fic where Usagi stabs Dark Mamoru, and then Serenity tries to take over, right there on the field, and Usagi turns it inward, and destroys herself instead.

..of course, this really only works if Mamoru somehow survives/is resurrected to learn about what she did.

and then i want HIM to destroy the world/attack the gates of hell/do everything in his fucking power to get.her.back.
