Forgotten about ficlet that was posted in anenko's comments in DECEMBER that I promptly lost.
Title: Same Time, Same Place
Author: alianora
Rating: PG13
Summery: You would think that being psychic would pay off in situations like this.
Seriously, you would think that being psychic would pay off in situations like this, with Nick's thigh pushing between her legs and her arms wrapped around his neck.
But they've been here before, and she STILL hasn't gotten to the best part. The part she knows is coming. The part where he stops and smiles and lifts her up to carry her away.
She's seen it, she has, but everytime they've ended up here, something happens.
The first time, a rat ran across his foot and he nearly dropped her. And that was enough to bring him back to his senses - still a little drunk, but not gone far enough that he forgot that she was only 16.
It took another two years and claiming of complete amnesia of the original incident to land then back to that same wall.
And it was the same wall.
But then Cassie had gotten a very violent premonition about a close by building. They had barely made it away before it went boom.
It had gotten progressively more ridiculous from there. Especially because Nick still had convenient bouts of anmesia where he somehow forgot that he had given her a massive hickey, lost her bra, and had his hand up her skirt on three separate occasions.
Cassie was starting to get more than a little impatient.
She would like to have sex something this century. With Nick. And she was starting to feel a little more hopeful about this time, as so far her bra had been flung who knows where, Nick's shirt was completely off, and he was breathing her name against her neck.
So far, so good.
Nick pulled back and looked into her eyes, and Cassie held her breath as he brushed her hair out of her face.
"Cassie," he whispered.
"Yeah?" She ran her fingers down his chest, tugging lightly at his chest hair.
"Cassie, baby," Nick said. "I...I..don't have a condom."
"WHAT?"
