Random question: In the whole course of Firefly, does Jayne ever call or refer to River by name? Im pretty sure he never calls her River, but does he refer to her?

Question I've been wanting to ask someone since there are a few people talking about this movie all the time on my flist. If I've never seen Firefly and have no idea what it was about, will I get/like the movie?

to tell the truth, ive yet to see it. i have tickets for two shows friday.

according to the special, it is made so people dont HAVE to have seen Firefly at all, and you should still be able to enjoy it. might be a little confused, and will probably miss injokes (like Wash's dinosaurs), but you should be able to follow the movie without trouble.

SO GO SEE IT.

and then get in touch with me, and ill burn the dvds for you. cause you HAVE TO WATCH FIREFLY.
