Stairs.
When I was 18 months old, we moved from Minnasota, where I was born, to Georgia, to my dad's hometown.
When we first moved there, we lived in my great grandmother's house. There was one big carpet covered staircase in the front hall, the only way to get from the first floor to the second floor.
While I don't remember in detail, I do remember the stairs up above me, and wanting to go up.
My parents tell me now, that was my favorite thing about the house. I loved the stairs.
