I have 2 stories I have to proofread that I've barely started that are due TOMORROW. I have to make 2 batches of cookies to take to school tomorrow! I havent brushed up on canon for my yuletide fic! Id rather be watching tw Hana Kimi!

In good news, I still dont actually have students, so the school is essentially paying me to organize my classroom obsessively. In other good news, I have started my yuletide fic!

...i dont think i like it, but I've started it.

I should hold off laughing at you, especially so soon after Full House. This is me, not laughing.

Where are you in the series? After my computer troubles, I fell way behind and only just finished the fifth episode. You have no idea how bad the withdrawal was :(

Ah, yuletide trauma! I'm almost finished mine, but. . . I'm looking at it and thinking "good god, this is horrible!" I'm hoping it's just angst, and not my good taste finally making itself known.

And I'm really excited, because my DVD burner is working right now! I really, really want to get those DVDs out to you soon. Heh. I'm probably more worked up about it than you are! But I'm having a lot of fun. If I have a bit of spare room, I'm totally squeezing in the two eps of Mendol I have--total crack, and I'm not sure whether or not I mean that in the good way.

no, see, i dont hate myself for liking Hana Kimi, so you can laugh, but it isnt as much fun. I still hate myself for falling for Full House, even though i didnt really LOVE it until the last episode.

im about to start 13, so ive managed to get way in front of you! im not going to discuss the whole sexual assault thing, because i think my brain might explode (BOSSLADY SAYS HE WAS "RATHER RUDE" TO HER! RUI XI SAYS IT WAS HER FAULT AND BOSSLADY DOESN'T CALL BULLSHIT. THE WHOLE IDEA YOU CAN ASSAULT SOMEONE INTO LIKING YOU. *froths at mouth*), and the whole hurt/comfort thing would have been better if we hadn't already heard her whole fat story before..if, in fact, Quan hadn't heard all of her fat story before. is that petty? i just..i wanted more cuddles and snuggles and protectiveness, and instead i got Rui Xi babbling a story i had already heard. *cranky*

but i LOOOOVED Julia, in all honesty. and compared to the Julia we got in the jdrama sp, id like to marry this Julia and have the other commited. i really liked how touchy and adorable they were, and how like real girls and real friends!

..of course, the gift of cute undies and the whole struggle over the bag, and Quan thinking, "i bet that's something that absolutely should not be seen," made me think dirty thoughts. as did the entire hot springs scene. as she is NAKED and he is looking, and you KNOW, "I wanted to kiss you," meant, "I want to throw you against the wall and do dirty things underwater to you." or is that just me? and then he gets out, and she TOTALLY gets the full monty, at least from the rear, you can see it on her face.

also, Ella patting both boys on the crotch during one of the behind the scenes things was awesome. can i marry her?

All the manga's fault, there. I *hated* it so, so much. Okay, (attempted) sexual assault isn't uncommon in manga, but the part where the girl blames herself and never even *thinks* about pressing charges will never not get to me. For fuck's sake, if he did it to you, what makes you think he hasn't/won't do it again?

I can't comment on the Julia in either drama, but I really did like her in the manga--especially how she and Nakatsu clashed. Poor Nakatsu!

Mendol sounds awesome and terrible, ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

Their lesbian dominatrix boss flogs the girls when they misbehave! The most homophobic of the three crossdressing girls is kissed by a super popular female idol! There are lots of gratuitous ass shots! It's so horrible I couldn't tear my eyes away!

In the manga, Mizuki screams and tries to get away from Sano *once,* right after the assault first happened. And then the whole incident is forgotten. There *should* be lots of fallout, especially since Mizuki/Rui Xi is so innocent and always thought that her disguise as a boy was the perfect defence.

(God, I loved the scene in episode five where Rui Xi crawled into bed with Quan. "You're a girl. I am a guy. You should be more careful around me.")

YES. THIS. she is insanely innocent, and i cant figure out how much she understands about anatomy at all, in all honesty. i get the feeling she vaguely knows that boys are different "down there" but Im betting thats ALL she knows like in the ep where Rui Xi volunteers for the Treasure Hunt game and the other boys are telling her about it and to look out for people grabbing nuts, she just kind of nods and repeats it..and then doesnt react once she figures out what she just said. (Quan has a lot of educating to do once he gets to the point he can convince her to take her clothes off) so, really, im thinking she has NO CLUE what a penis is or what it looks like.

so there SHOULD be serious fallout. of course, her and Quan's first kiss should also be considered an assault, as she clearly wasnt willing. i really liked that she went and cried about it, which..sounds weird, doesnt it?

so, yes, fallout. i would like to see some in fic format. *nods firmly*

also, why do i have so many stupid fic ideas for Full House and Gokusen and Hana Yori Dango, but i have..essentially nothing for yuletide? *weeps* im never going to finish it. i shall be banned. everyone will hate me.
